No.6 Skillet & Lid Set

I was skeptical about the weight, but the 100% cast iron construction feels incredibly solid, and the knob holds up perfectly when I grab it mid-cook. The self-basting ridges in the lid keep my pot roast juicy without any extra effort. This is the last skillet set I’ll ever need.

The self-basting ridges on the lid made the pork shoulder come out incredibly moist, and the knob stayed cool enough to grab without a mitt. It’s heavy, but that’s exactly what I wanted for searing. I’ve already used it three times this week.

Cooked a full chicken dinner in this set and the lid fit so snug that the drippings essentially basted the bird on their own. The cast iron knob stayed cool enough to grab bare-handed mid-roast, which surprised me. Everything about it feels built to outlive me.
