The lid fits both pieces perfectly, so I’m not juggling extra cookware when I need to simmer one thing and sear another. First batch of cornbread came out with a gorgeous crust, and cleanup was just hot water and a brush.
The self-basting lid is the star here—it kept my stew moist without me lifting it once, and the 11 5/8" size swapping between the skillet and Dutch oven is genius.
